That in itself is white privilege. And that is a crime of theft. It is stealing the slogan from the Jewish Halocaust. How can one equate 9/11 terrorist bombing with the systematic Nazi genocide. Yes terrorism is a hateful act of asymmetrical warfare in a prolonged war of our own making. The casualties are reminiscent of the Hatfields and McCoys decades long feud where the combatants pick away at each other and fueling an unreasonable hate. That is why "Never Forget" has become a cheap, white buzzword. It is declaring that attacks against whites is the ultimate insult (sin) to the self proclaimed "chosen of God". Such arrogance!
When it is suggested that black lives equally share in the grace of God, there has to be push back from the white privilege so that white importance is upheld.
I love it when people get so upset over the way the culture is changing in a way that threatens their ideological perception of how things are supposed to be by their reasoning and are adamant that the government return 'Merica to a time when white privilege was not questioned. When the threat of holding white society accountable was not a part of the conversation. Too many on the white side fear the loss of their white privileges. So they turn the blame against people they consider inferior for the cognitive dissonance they are experiencing as the cause of their fear. People like The Donald keep repeating the same load of fear mongering and hate that fingers their domestic "enemy" as the root and cause of all their fears.
To me "Black Lives Matter" is a call to right centuries of injustice. Not in a regulated timeline that has a nebulous, far off pie crust promise of justice, but now. Do all lives matter? In the eyes of God yes they do, but right now it is not God who is creating the social environment, it is white privilege and its' actions that are creating a desperate cry for equal justice, Black Lives Matter.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07634154715201318357noreply@blogger.com
